Ich verkaufe hier mein Albion Soldat, ein hochwertiges sog. "großes Messer" aus der renommierten Next Generation-Serie von Albion Swords.
Dieses Schwert orientiert sich an den klassischen Formen des großen Messers, wie sie in deutschen Fechtbüchern des 15. und 16. Jahrhunderts zu finden sind, und ist benannt nach dem einfachen Fußsoldaten jener Zeit.
Die Klinge ist aus hochkohlenstoffhaltigem Stahl handgeschliffen und wärmebehandelt, um maximale Flexibilität und eine feine Schneide zu gewährleisten. Die Griffschalen sind mit Röhrennieten befestigt, und ein seitlicher Handschutz (Nagel) schützt die Finger bei Bindungen und Windungen.
Das Schwert ist in einem sehr guten Zustand; es ist wie neu!
Zusätzlich biete ich eine maßgefertigte Schwertscheide von Tod’s Workshop an, die speziell für mich angefertigt wurde.
Es handelt sich um eine historisch akkurate Nachbildung einer Schwertscheide aus ca. dem Jahr 1500. Die Scheide verfügt über einen Holzkern, ist mit Leder überzogen und mit einem bronzenen Ortband sowie periodengerechten Beschlägen ausgestattet. Sie wurde passgenau für das Albion Soldat gefertigt und ermöglicht einen sicheren sowie authentischen Transport des Schwertes.
Außerdem wurden von Tod's Workshop noch ein Messer und ein Ahle/Nadel, wie damals üblich, dafür angefertigt, welche in die Scheide passen.

I am selling my Albion Soldat, a high-quality so-called "großes Messer" from the renowned Next Generation series by Albion Swords.
This sword is based on the classic forms of the large knife as found in German fencing manuals of the 15th and 16th centuries, and is named after the common foot soldier of that time.
The blade is hand-ground from high-carbon steel and heat-treated to ensure maximum flexibility and a fine edge. The grip scales are attached with tubular rivets, and a side hand guard (nail) protects the fingers during binds and windings.
The sword is in very good condition; it’s like new!
Additionally, I am offering a custom-made scabbard by Tod’s Workshop, which was specially made for me.
It is a historically accurate reproduction of a scabbard from around the year 1500. The scabbard has a wooden core, is covered in leather, and is fitted with a bronze chape and period-accurate fittings. It was custom-made to fit the Albion Soldat precisely and allows for secure and authentic transport of the sword.
Additionally, Tod's Workshop also made a knife and an awl/pricker, as was common back then, to fit into the scabbard.
