Loden is water-repellent.  

Due to the elaborate processing of the virgin wool, the felting, the loden becomes not only more durable and warming, but also extremely water-repellent.  

Loden is temperature-regulating.  

Due to the fabric structure of the Loden, a regular and controlled heat exchange takes place, creating a microclimate zone on the body. Loden does not let the cold through, retains body heat and thus guarantees exceptional comfort.  

Loden is breathable.  

Wool is extremely breathable, meaning it absorbs moisture vapor from the body and releases it to the fabric surface. This property of Loden is particularly important for outerwear in sports, such as skiing or hiking.  

Loden is windproof.  

Due to the fact that the Loden is processed without chemical additives, its windproof property is retained. Up to wind force 10, the Loden retains its windproof quality.  

Loden is dirt-resistant.  

Due to the material structure and wool lanolin, virgin wool is absolutely resistant to dirt. This means that dirt and grime can be easily brushed off the Loden when dry.
