What is your legal form?

For that we need your tax identification number. VAT identification number and register number only if you have them.

For that we need your tax identification number as well as the register number and the registering court.

For that we need the company's tax number as well as the register number and the registering court.

Your 11-digit personal tax identification number – e. g. on your income tax assessment or your payslip.

The 13-digit nationwide tax number – also called the “ELSTER tax number”, you will find it in your ELSTER account, for example. If you have been issued a business identification number (your VAT ID with a five-digit suffix, e. g. DE123456789-00001), please enter that one.

The tax number or tax identification number (TIN) issued by your country of residence – e.g. on your tax assessment notice. If you have been issued a German tax identification number or business identification number instead, you may enter that as well.

Federal state of your tax office

Only needed if you enter the tax number in your tax office's format (e. g. 133/8150/8159); we then convert it automatically.

Only if you are registered – type of register and number, e. g. HRA 1234, plus the registering court. A small business is usually not registered.

As a registered merchant you are listed in the commercial register – e. g. HRA 1234, plus the registering court, e. g. Amtsgericht Darmstadt. You must also publish the register and number in your provider identification (§ 5 DDG).
