Die Klinge wurde vor ca. 50 Jahren vor dem Hochofen gerettet.In dieser Zeit ist der Damast auch getestet worden. Die Klinge ist ohne Angel ca. 91,5 cm lang und an der Angel ca.35 mm breit an der Spitze ca. 20 mm. Die Klinge ist 7mm dick und ist wohl für einen Pallasch oder Degen gedacht.Es ist Flugrost vorhanden.
