eGun strives to make this online marketplace accessible in accordance with the German Accessibility Improvement Act (BFSG). The benchmark is EN 301 549 in conjunction with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, conformance level AA.

Conformance status

This application is partially compliant with the requirements mentioned. It was built from the ground up with semantic HTML, sufficient contrast, visible keyboard focus, labelled form fields and support for reduced motion.

Non-accessible content

• Item descriptions and images are provided by sellers; we can only partially ensure their accessibility (e.g. alternative texts in descriptions).
• Some older content pages (e.g. help texts from the previous system) do not yet fully meet the requirements; they are being revised step by step.
