EWB oder MES?

EWB = Erwerbsberechtigung A valid acquisition permit can be a valid annual hunting license (JS), a valid firearm possession card (WBK), a valid ammunition acquisition permit (MES), or a valid firearm trading license.

MES = Munitionerwerbschein for "Munition aller Art" is required for the purchase of ammunition without CIP approval. Every commercially available ammunition has a CIP approval. Recognizable by a stylized cartridge with a coat of arms on the packaging. Ammunition without CIP approval (collector's ammunition) may only be purchased with a Munitionerwerbschein for "Munition aller Art". A regular hunting license/WBK is not sufficient.
