The connection to eGun is always encrypted: Every page – not just the login – is delivered via HTTPS. You can recognize this by the lock symbol in the address bar of your browser. A separate switch for this is no longer necessary.

How to recognize a real eGun page

• The address starts with https://www.egun.de/ – check especially the part directly before the first slash.
• We never ask for your password via email or phone and never ask you to share it with anyone.
• Links from emails, in case of doubt, you should not check by clicking, but by entering www.egun.de directly into the address bar.

What really protects your account

Encryption protects the transport path, not your password. You yourself ensure that:

• a password that you don't use anywhere else
• two-factor authentication or a passkey as a second hurdle
• a look at the Devices you're logged into, if something seems strange
