The Leupold VX-5HD 1-5x24 30 mm CDS-ZL2 iR FireDot Duplex is a rifle scope designed for hunters and sport shooters with a Twilight Max HD system that brightens the image under all conditions, an illuminated reticle, and the CDS-ZL2 elevation knob that allows you to make adjustments to match your ammunition's ballistics and the distance you are shooting. Modern Technologies The Leupold VX-5HD 1-5×24 30 mm CDS-ZL2 iR FireDot Duplex is a compact hunting/sporting scope with a length of 270 mm and a weight of 417 g.

The rifle scope features an aluminum tube (6061-T6) with a diameter of 30 mm, which, unlike the inch version, offers a much larger range of reticle adjustments of up to 170 MOA vertically and horizontally.

On the eyepiece is a Moleskin Fast Focus ring for quick and comfortable magnification changes.

The scope's tube is filled with a patented gas mixture (argon and krypton) that eliminates the effects of thermal shocks, reduces gas diffusion within the scope, and completely eliminates the problem of internal lens evaporation.

The sealing technology used guarantees 100% weather resistance.

The scope underwent rigorous testing on the Punisher simulation machine, where the scopes were subjected to 5,000 continuous recoil tests.

The machine generates impacts with an energy that is 3 times greater than the recoil of a .308 rifle.

Perfect bright and clear image

The American manufacturer Leupold places particular emphasis on image quality and brightness.

The optical system uses premium lenses and the Twilight Light Max Management System, which is responsible for high light transmission and the reduction of stray light.

The visible image is bright and sharp from edge to edge, providing depth, making the scope ideal for hunting during morning and evening twilight (adding about 30 minutes of light).

Premium lenses increase blue and red light transmittance and balance colors to maximize contrast. Glare is compensated for by special mechanical structures and blackened lens edges.

The outer surfaces of the lenses are coated with a durable Guard-Ion coating, which effectively protects the optics from scratches and reduces water, dirt, and fingerprint deposits.

The illuminated reticle, 5x magnification, and impressively wide field of view (from 38.2 to 7.5 m/100 m) make this scope ideal for group hunting and dynamic shooting competitions.

Illuminated reticle The scope uses a Duplex reticle with an illuminated reticle. Developed by Leupold in 1962, the 30/30 Duplex crosshair consists of 4 arms that merge into a "thin hair" in the center.

The clear, high-contrast reticle allows for both precise and fast shooting under varying lighting conditions. The fiber-optic FireDot reticle automatically moves the shooter's sight to the center of the crosshairs, enabling quick and instinctive target acquisition. The illumination settings (8 levels) are adjusted using the side push button.

The first 4 settings are for use in low-light conditions, the others for use in sunlight. The adjustment range allows for comfortable operation regardless of lighting conditions and time of day.

The reticle with illuminated aiming point and variable magnification ideally bridges the gap between the collimator sight and the classic optical sight, offering precision, dynamic target acquisition, as well as mobility and movement comfort.

The turrets fixed at zero have an adjustment of 1/4 MOA. The adjustment range of the reticle is up to 170 MOA vertically and horizontally. The barrels have cast walls that allow for adjustment of settings without additional tools.

MST motion sensor Using the motion sensor technology (MST), the background illumination is switched off (deactivated) after 15 minutes of inactivity. To reactivate the point illumination, the rifle only needs to be moved.

The advantage of this solution is the impressive battery life.

Lock rollers with quick reset system The rifle scope uses a practical Pop-Up Rezero zero-adjustment system (via button press), which prevents accidental changes to the settings and allows an immediate return to the original settings without additional tools.

The use of the System Zero Lock eliminates the possibility of accidental changes to the height settings and simultaneously allows for a quick and precise return to zero.

CDS System The rifle scope uses an innovative CDS (Custom Dial System), allowing the shooter to adjust the elevation tube parameters to the distance and ballistics of a specific ammunition.

With the ability to configure the CDS, we can achieve precise and reproducible shooting at great distances after just a short training session, without needing to use a height table (changing the aiming point).

Zero guaranteed To ensure a stable zero, the erector system is constantly influenced by a double progressive spring (30% stronger than a linear spring). Its task is to counteract the recoil caused by the weapon's recoil and extend the life of the internal components.

High precision in the manufacturing of the key components guarantees repeatable hits at different magnifications.

Parallax adjustment With the side parallax knob, you can easily compensate for parallax errors (point of view errors that affect the aiming point) by looking away from the target. The parallax correction allows you to fine-tune the image focus depending on the distance from which you are shooting.
