Steyr Mannlicher Mod. S

8x68S

Excellently preserved and sought-after bolt-action rifle from high-quality manufacturing, expertly cleaned and responsibly tested by our qualified gunsmiths.

Connoisseurs appreciate this classic Austrian rifle for its "butter-soft" bolt action and hammered barrel profile known for the highest precision and durability.

600 mm long barrel with brand new groove/field profile. Almost brand new bluing on the steel parts. Very nice stock made of good walnut wood, with Scottish fish skin, fine wood ends and only minimal signs of use. The original parts made of Makrolon® (magazine housing and trigger guard) were replaced with brand new spare parts (Austrian new production!) with aluminum reinforcement. The rotary magazine also made of Makrolon® is in very good condition. Trigger with German bolt.

Total length 1,160 mm, stock length 375 mm, weight without optics 3.80 kg.

Österreichischer CIP-Beschuss 1969, S/N 8616.

ATTENTION: Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee the durability of the original parts made of Makrolon® (magazine), as this plastic becomes brittle with age (natural aging). Bid only if you accept this notice!
