Due to age, I have reduced some good pieces from my collection, including a rare percussion revolver Colt Army M 1860 in caliber .44. It is original in all parts and has the serial number 122xxx (numerically identical). According to the Colt book, it was manufactured in 1864. On the barrel is the single-line inscription „ADRESS COL. SAM L COLT NEW YORK US-AMERICA“. It has the typical recesses for use with a shoulder stock. On the grips are the military acceptance stamps.
He is in good condition with age-appropriate signs of use, the mechanism works perfectly. The barrel bore is good with a clear rifling and field profile, but somewhat rough. The barrel inscription and Colt's patent on the left frame side are legible. The cylinder engraving is faintly visible.
