S&W Model 617 K-22 Masterpiece S/S Satin .22LR 6in 10rnd DA/SA

The Smith & Wesson Model 617 K-22 Masterpiece is a modern evolution of one of the most iconic revolver platforms ever produced. Built on the legendary K-Frame — a design that has defined service and target revolvers since 1899 — the Model 617 delivers a full-size shooting experience with the precision and control demanded by serious shooters. Chambered in .22 LR, this revolver is engineered for accuracy, consistency, and high-volume shooting. Unlike lightweight rimfire revolvers, the Model 617 offers the same dimensions, balance, and handling characteristics as centerfire K-frame models. This makes it an ideal platform for cost-effective training, skill development, and precision shooting.

Constructed entirely from stainless steel with a satin finish, the Model 617 is built for durability and long-term reliability. The 6-inch full underlug barrel adds forward weight, significantly improving balance and reducing muzzle movement. The result is a stable shooting platform with minimal recoil and excellent shot-to-shot recovery.

One of the key advantages of the Model 617 is its 10-round capacity, doubling the standard capacity of traditional revolvers. This allows for extended shooting sessions with fewer reloads, increasing both efficiency and enjoyment on the range. The revolver operates in both single and double action. In single action, it delivers a crisp, clean trigger break for precision shooting. In double action, it offers a smooth, consistent pull suitable for training and dynamic use. The sight system consists of a Patridge front sight paired with a fully adjustable rear sight, providing a proven setup for precision shooting across various distances. This is not a casual plinking revolver — the Model 617 is a serious training and target platform, designed to perform under high round counts while maintaining accuracy, control, and reliability.
